Sandy Morckel is an accomplished fundraising veteran, community advocate, and change agent who has assisted not-for-profit organizations and public/private partnerships to raise over $50 million in philanthropic support.

Sandy spent 30 years in the nonprofit sector as Executive Director or senior staff of local and national nonprofit organizations and launched the fundraising consulting firm Solutions for the Greater Good in 2014, targeting nonprofit organizations and public/private partnerships to crystallize bold goals and make them happen.

Sandy is a life-long model for civic engagement. A member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) since 1991, she is Past President of the AFP Central Ohio Chapter and a current AFP Lowcountry Chapter member. A Rotarian since 1993, Sandy is Past President of the Rotary Club of Dublin AM and was President of the Historic Rotary Club of Charleston during their 100th anniversary year in 2019-2020.

She is a founding member of the TEDxCharleston Steering Committee, Save More Kids board member, The Sophia Institute special advisor, and founding member of The Leadership Team for Social Justice Racial Equity Collaborative, where she’s dedicated the rest of her life to the issues of race relations and economic parity.

In 1999, she was recognized as a Business First “Forty Under 40” Honoree in Columbus, Ohio, to acknowledge her charitable and civic involvement and professional achievements. In 2020, she was selected as one of four finalists in the Remarkable Women series launched by News2 WCBD in Charleston and Nexstar Network nationally.
